For those of you who haven't made it to Kauai yet, one of the most unique things about the island are the chickens. They roam free around the whole island and they can crow at any time of the day. This does bother some people but it's something we have gotten used to. So much so, that it wouldn't be Kauai without them. You will often see them, just like in the picture, running around on the grounds at Pono Kai.
