We took the tour of the Coco Palms resort on our last trip. That place is so full of history. We had a great time. The first picture is if the famous lagoon that Elvis got married on in the movie "Blue Hawaii". The last picture is of the bungalow that Elvis always stayed in while he was there. The picture shows the closet with the secret door that could be used to go to the bungalow next to it.
For those of you who don't know, the Coco Palms was heavily damaged by hurricane Inki in 1992. There were many problems along the way and it was never rebuilt but after many long years it has been approved and financing has been secured to bring it back to it's former glory.
I can't wait to return to see the progress being made on this iconic property.
