The Pono Kai Resort on the Beautiful Island of Kauai.

I go to this beautiful, peaceful resort every year. After our first visit, my wife and I decided that in our retirement, we want to spend at least a few months there each year to escape some of our Wisconsin winter. I started accumulating weeks at the resort and because I'm about ten years from retirement, I always have extra weeks that I rent out.
Because I'm an owner, I get my choice of buildings and villas at the resort. The resort is located in the small town of Kapaa, on the east side of Kauai. Pono Kai rests on 12 oceanfront acres.
The Pono Kai resort is a nice quiet place to spend a relaxing vacation. It is not a mega resort with water slides and large theme pools. In fact the whole Island of Kauai is more laid back and genuinely Hawaiian. Kapaa is centrally located on the island so you can access both the north and south sides of the island and their activities in about a half an hour. Kapaa has nice shops and restaurants within walking distance of the resort. Take some time and look through the website. If you have any questions, Click "Contact Us". 2014 week available. I have an oceanfront Week booked for 2-22-2014 to 3-1-2014. This was the last oceanfront one bedroom unit available during this time. It's a great time to be in Kauai to see whales. First come, First served on this week.

It's not too early to start thinking about a 2014 trip to the Pono Kai. I can make reservations up to a year in advance. 2014 reservations can start to be made in January 2013. We have seen a large increase in demand for January, February and March, If you want that time in 2014, let us know so we can get it booked now.
